A New Year ... I wish everyone a year filled with love and bountiful blessings. I am so glad for a chance to try and do all the the things my heart aspires to. Check out her blog and enter for a chance to win. The other day I made some snickerdoodles just the thing to turn a grumpy mood into a happy one. The girls helped me and everyone was happy. Here is the recipe it makes a lot of cookies ,I usually share them with our friends and neighbors. We are so lucky to live in a neighborhood where we know and are friends with our neighbors.
SNICKERDOODLES
1 cup butter (cold cut into small chunks)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
2 3/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Cream together butter and sugar until well blended add eggs and blend well.
Add flour cream of tartar,baking soda,and salt to butter mixture blend well.Wrap and
chill mixture for 20 minutes in the freezer. Roll mixture into small balls and then into a mixture of 1/2 cup of sugar and 3 teaspoons of cinnamon.
Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.
